Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the BracketIQ app (hereinafter referred to as the "Application", "App", "The App", or "Service") for mobile devices, created by Lalsang Chauhan (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider") as a Freemium service.

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. It is strongly advised that you read and understand them before using the Application.

Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to extract the source code, reverse engineer, translate, decompile, or create derivative works of the Application is not permitted.

All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

Application and Services

The Service Provider is committed to making the Application as useful and reliable as possible. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Application or charge for certain features or services at any time. Any charges for premium features or subscriptions will always be clearly communicated before purchase.

BracketIQ is intended to help users create, organize, manage, and share tournaments. While we strive to provide accurate and reliable functionality, the Service Provider does not guarantee that all tournament information, schedules, results, or brackets will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

User Responsibilities

The Application stores and processes information that you provide in order to deliver its features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and controlling access to the Application.

The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device. Doing so may compromise your device's security, expose it to malware, and prevent the Application from functioning correctly.

You are responsible for the tournament information you create, including team names, player information, match results, and any content entered into the Application. You should only enter information that you have the right to use.

Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions.

These services may include:

• Google AdMob

• Google Analytics for Firebase

• Firebase Crashlytics

• Apple In-App Purchases

Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

Internet Connectivity

Certain features of the Application require an active internet connection, either through Wi-Fi or your mobile network provider.

The Service Provider is not responsible if the Application cannot function properly due to lack of internet connectivity, poor network coverage, or if you have exhausted your mobile data allowance.

If you use the Application over a mobile network, your network provider's terms and charges will continue to apply. You are solely responsible for any mobile data, roaming, or other charges incurred while using the Application.

Device Availability

You are responsible for ensuring that your device remains functional and sufficiently charged to access the Application.

The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if you are unable to use the Application because your device is unavailable, damaged, out of battery, or otherwise inaccessible.

Disclaimer of Liability

While the Service Provider makes reasonable efforts to keep the Application accurate, functional, and up to date, no warranty is provided that the Application will always operate without interruption or error.

The Service Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Application, including any loss of tournament data, match results, schedules, or other information.

You are responsible for reviewing tournament information before relying on it for official or competitive purposes.

Updates and Availability

The Service Provider may release updates to improve functionality, security, or compatibility.

You agree to install available updates when offered in order to continue using the Application.

The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will remain compatible with all future operating system versions or devices.

The Service Provider may suspend or discontinue the Application, or any part of it, at any time without prior notice.

Upon termination of the Application:

• All rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately end.

• You must stop using the Application.

• You should uninstall the Application from your device if requested or if you no longer wish to use it.

Subscriptions

Some features of BracketIQ may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your Apple App Store account at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Subscription management, billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time for operational, legal, regulatory, or Application-related reasons.

Updated Terms will be posted within the Application and/or on the associated Terms and Conditions page.

Your continued use of the Application after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Effective Date

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 1 August 2026.
