This Privacy Policy applies to the BracketIQ app (hereby referred to as the "Application", "App", or "The App") for mobile devices, created by Lalsang Chauhan (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS."

BracketIQ is designed to help users create, organize, manage, and share tournaments.

Depending on how you use the Application, it may store information including:

• Teams and player rosters

• Match schedules and results

• Brackets and tournament progress

• Notes or additional tournament details

• App preferences and settings

The Application does not require users to provide personally identifiable information such as their address or phone number to use its core features, except where certain information may be required by third-party services or platform features.

Information stored or processed by the Application is used to:

• Generate and update tournament brackets

• Organize teams and player rosters

• Remember App preferences and settings

We do not sell or rent your personal information to advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

User-Provided Content

BracketIQ allows you to create tournament-related content, including tournament names, teams, players, match results, and notes.

Any information you add to the Application should only include content that you have the right to use.

Notifications

BracketIQ may request permission to send notifications so it can provide tournament reminders, match updates, and other relevant alerts.

You can enable or disable notification permissions at any time through your device settings.

Third-Party Services

The Application may utilize third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies regarding data collection and handling.

These services may include:

• Google AdMob (Advertising)

• Google Analytics for Firebase (Usage Analytics)

• Firebase Crashlytics (Crash Reporting)

• Apple In-App Purchases (Subscription and Purchase Management)

These third-party services may collect certain information according to their own privacy policies and practices.

Subscriptions and Purchases

BracketIQ may offer optional paid subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Purchases made through Apple platforms are processed by Apple through its payment systems. The Service Provider does not directly process or store your complete payment card or banking information.

Purchase and subscription information may be used as necessary to verify subscription status, provide access to premium features, restore purchases, and manage App functionality.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

The Service Provider may disclose information only when reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:

• As required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process

• To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the Service Provider, or others

• To investigate fraud, abuse, misuse, or security issues

Any information shared will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the specific purpose.

Data Retention and Deletion

Where data is stored locally on your device, deleting tournament data or uninstalling the Application may remove such locally stored information.

Information processed or retained by third-party service providers may be subject to their own data retention and deletion policies.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop further collection of data through the Application by uninstalling the Application using the standard uninstall process available through your mobile device or app marketplace.

You may also manage notification permissions through your device settings.

Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

If the Service Provider becomes aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information, reasonable steps will be taken to delete such information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us so appropriate action can be taken.

The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to protect information stored and processed by the Application.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Any updates may be posted within the Application and/or on the associated Privacy Policy page.
